Meeting Announcements + OIDFA Lace Information

UPDATE:  The March meeting will be 8:30-11:30am -- note earlier time.  Topic- bobbin lace heart.   Our April meeting location TBA, & the topic will be bobbin lace ornaments created with 'mystery' stitches.

Please bring show-n-tell, share new books, ideas, fibers.      You are welcome to bring your current projects to the meeting.

We welcome guests!   If you are interested in lace, or have met some of our members demonstrationing in public, please feel free to join us.   

Members, please watch your e-mail for pattern prickings and instructions.


The topic for March Meeting 
will be bobbin lace mystery stitches.
We will create ornaments
from the bobbin lace samples.

21st OIDFA World Lace Congress and General Assembly 2025
It is official!  OIDFA Congress 2025 will be held in Bulgaria – Karlovo & Kalofer. Congress dates are 16-18 August 2025.
The Congress includes Bulgaria’s national lace festival on 15 August 2025 and continues with exhibits, lectures, events, vendors, and Congress.

Small Lace Samples



Small Lace Samples are needed for 
Lafayette Lacemaker cards.

 
Particularly needed are those that do not use a variegated modern thread.



Please give them to Cathy.  Many are needed to hand out at community events.
