Chapter Members:  Please continue creating small lace samples, for the cards, handed out at lace demonstrations .... and turn them in at monthly meetings. 

Feast:  Lace samples need to be 'period correct' so be conscious of color + don't get too fancy w/patterns.

We welcome guests!   If you have met some of our members at one of our demonstrations, please feel free to join us.  Bring along a project or come and learn some lacemaking skills.   Annual membership is $10.00 July - the following June.

 

On Saturday,

we’ll do some sewing of lace samples to business cards for the Feast, 

and Bette will be happy to answer any questions 

about the Christmas projects we’re working on.

It is time to Renew your Membership.

August meeting + lace-in

The Lafayette Lacemakers will assemble at the Tippecanoe Arts Federation on Saturday, August 10th at 9am for a business mtg. and a lace-in.  Please bring things you're working on and/or plan on making some lace samples for the business cards we give away at our demonstrations.  

Members, check your e-mail for additional information.

REMINDER:      The 2019-2020 annual dues are $10 for the year.  

Upcoming programs include knitting with beads and Romanian Point Lace.

There will be NO business meeting.

We will have a Lace-In 

(bring project you need help with or would like to work on).

Small Lace Samples

Reminder .....

 

Small Lace Samples are needed for 

Lafayette Lacemaker cards.

 

Particularly needed are those that do not use a variegated modern thread.

Please give them to Cathy.  Many are needed to hand out at community events.

I
