March meeting: Note the Earlier Time

Please bring your show-n-tell. You are always welcome to bring your

current projects in progress. Please share new books, ideas, fibers!!

Guests are always welcome. If you are interested in lace,

or have met some of our members demonstrationing in public,

please feel free to join us.

Members, check your email for details.

Our April meeting will be at a different

location -- TBA.

The topic will be bobbin lace mystery stitches.

We will create ornaments

from the bobbin lace samples.

Lace Challenge Guidelines

The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. The Theme of the Lace Challenge is Jewelry. There is no time window on when items were made. Items must be made by the person submitting. The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. Items may be original designs or patterns from published sources. For items made from published sources, reference to the pattern source must accompany each item. There is no limit on the number of items one person may enter in the challenge. We will display items submitted to the challenge in one of the display cabinets at the West Lafayette Public Library. The date when we can get the display cabinet will determine the deadline for the challenge. note that, due to space limitations, all items submitted to the challenge might not be displayed at the library.
