October meeting + Knitted Lace program

Following the business meeting, the program will be knitted lace, led by Anne.   [Topic may be more Estonian Lace,  or Shetland lace].   Members - keep an eye on your e-mail ; )



Lafayette Lacemakers meet at 9 a.m.
on the
Second Saturday
of each month


During the TAF renovations we will be meeting at the TCHA History Center, 
located at the NW corner of Columbia  and 6th Streets in Lafayette 
(just 2 blocks south of the TAF building where we used to meet).  

Currently, there is no sign on the TCHA History Center.  
The building is  across the street from the 
Lafayette City Hall and Police Station which do have signs.

On-street parking has no time limit on Saturdays.  There is a
Farmers  Market in the morning, one block west of the History Center.     

In addition to on on-street parking spaces, there is FREE parking on Saturday
 at the Columbia Block Parking Facility, 
(located south of Columbia Street -- one block west of the TCHA History Center)

Renovation Update:    TCHA is having work done on the east door to the History Center,  where we have our Lafayette Lacemakers meetings.  Until that work is done, please use the door on the south side of the building, the one with outside stairs up to the door.  
 
Doors to the building open at 8:45am, meeting begins at 9am, followed by program.

Estonian Lace Knitting
