March Meeting Announcement

Our Next Meeting:

We will be meeting in person as a group this Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon in the The Arts Federation (TAF) Art Room. Please wear a mask.

Our Topic:

CONTAINERS!!

We all have our favourite containers for lace supplies, projects, pillows, shuttles, threads, yarn, roving, etc.

Members: please check your email for details.

PLUS ... In the Future:

we have a couple of programs to share. One on Torchon Stitches ....

AND ... Flanders to Binche program (Chris + Bette).

Lace Challenge Guidelines

The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. The Theme of the Lace Challenge is Jewelry. There is no time window on when items were made. Items must be made by the person submitting. The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. Items may be original designs or patterns from published sources. For items made from published sources, reference to the pattern source must accompany each item. There is no limit on the number of items one person may enter in the challenge. We will display items submitted to the challenge in one of the display cabinets at the West Lafayette Public Library. The date when we can get the display cabinet will determine the deadline for the challenge. note that, due to space limitations, all items submitted to the challenge might not be displayed at the library.
