"The 2020 Convention Lace Contest has been postponed to 2022 because the contest goes with the convention theme. Some members thought we might need a challenge before the 2021 contest is announced. So ... The 2020 IOLI Iso-LACE-tion Lace Contest begins! All IOLI members are invited to participate in an Un-Conventional Contest." Lace Challenge Guidelines

The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. The Theme of the Lace Challenge is Jewelry. There is no time window on when items were made. Items must be made by the person submitting. The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. Items may be original designs or patterns from published sources. For items made from published sources, reference to the pattern source must accompany each item. There is no limit on the number of items one person may enter in the challenge. We will display items submitted to the challenge in one of the display cabinets at the West Lafayette Public Library. The date when we can get the display cabinet will determine the deadline for the challenge. note that, due to space limitations, all items submitted to the challenge might not be displayed at the library.
