C A N C E L L E D meeting ....

We are not meeting this Saturday

due to the need to "social distance" ourselves from others in an attempt to slow the corona virus spread.

Our program, Hinojosa Lace, will be rescheduled.

We are going to postpone our

Bobbin Workshop with Holly Van Sciver, which was scheduled Weds-Fri, March 25-27, 2020.

Lace Challenge Guidelines

The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. The Theme of the Lace Challenge is Jewelry. There is no time window on when items were made. Items must be made by the person submitting. The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. Items may be original designs or patterns from published sources. For items made from published sources, reference to the pattern source must accompany each item. There is no limit on the number of items one person may enter in the challenge. We will display items submitted to the challenge in one of the display cabinets at the West Lafayette Public Library. The date when we can get the display cabinet will determine the deadline for the challenge. note that, due to space limitations, all items submitted to the challenge might not be displayed at the library.
