Members are encouraged to share lace news, books, magazines, and ideas. Please bring show-n-tell and feel free to bring a project to work on.

Guests are always welcome.

If you are interested in lace,

or have met some of our members demonstrating in public,

feel free to join us.

This will be the last chapter meeting in 2025. Our next chapter meeting is scheduled for January 10, 2026.

2025 Calendar of Events

Lace Challenge Guidelines

The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. The Theme of the Lace Challenge is Jewelry. There is no time window on when items were made. Items must be made by the person submitting. The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. Items may be original designs or patterns from published sources. For items made from published sources, reference to the pattern source must accompany each item. There is no limit on the number of items one person may enter in the challenge. We will display items submitted to the challenge in one of the display cabinets at the West Lafayette Public Library. The date when we can get the display cabinet will determine the deadline for the challenge. note that, due to space limitations, all items submitted to the challenge might not be displayed at the library.
