Note: Regarding the entrance to Lace Day at TAF-Tippecanoe Arts Federation ....

The front doors on North Street are not open for our Lace Day event.

Please use the entrance on the WEST SIDE of the building, lowest level.

Are you going to have a separate exhibit of laces owned by members and non-members? I have an extensive collection that I would love to share.

Lace Challenge Guidelines

The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. The Theme of the Lace Challenge is Jewelry. There is no time window on when items were made. Items must be made by the person submitting. The challenge is open to any lacemaking technique and to all members of Lafayette Lacemakers. Items may be original designs or patterns from published sources. For items made from published sources, reference to the pattern source must accompany each item. There is no limit on the number of items one person may enter in the challenge. We will display items submitted to the challenge in one of the display cabinets at the West Lafayette Public Library. The date when we can get the display cabinet will determine the deadline for the challenge. note that, due to space limitations, all items submitted to the challenge might not be displayed at the library.
